Desert frequency

At 02:17, every radio in the outpost found the same station. No music. No voice. Just three slow pulses. Beyond the dunes, a column of light appeared. By sunrise, the signal was gone. One set of footprints remained.

The reflected signal

The mountains were still. The lake was not. A bright shape appeared in the water before anything crossed the sky. A visitor stood beneath the beam, watching its reflection. The recording ends with one word: hello.

Coordinates unavailable

The staircase had not been there yesterday. It rose through the clouds toward a doorway full of stars. Three craft waited nearby, engines silent. The first step carried no warning. Only an invitation.

Evidence from the treeline

The ranger found enormous tracks beside a circle of flattened grass. Above the trees, a saucer held perfectly still. A tall silhouette raised one hand. The ranger raised one back. Some encounters do not need explaining.
